If you’re traveling or injured and would prefer to pause your membership rather than cancel it, we’ve got you covered. Holds are available in 1 or 2 month blocks only at a time, at a cost of £25 per month. You can pause your membership for up to 3 months per year.

During the hold, your membership term will be extended by the length of the hold. Please note that all payments are non-refundable. Before submitting a hold request, please note the following:

 

• Submit your pause request form by the 25th of the month, late requests will be processed after your next scheduled payment

• Holds are only available after you’ve been a member for a minimum of 2 full months

• You cannot pause your membership for more than 3 months total in a year

• If you request a pause mid-month, the hold will begin on the 1st of the next calendar month

• Your account will automatically resume billing after the pause period unless you contact us to end the pause early

• If you use the gym during the pause period, your membership will be reactivated immediately, and regular charges will apply

• If you wish to cancel during the pause period, a 1-month written cancellation notice is required, as per your membership agreement, see below example

• If you reactivate your membership after cancelling, the current rates at the time of reactivation will apply

Example Pause Request:
You request to pause your membership on August 15th for one month. The pause will start on September 1st, and you won't be charged for September.

 

If you decide to cancel during the pause in September, you must submit your cancellation request by September 25th.

You'll be charged for October, as a 1-month notice is required. If you’re within a 6-month commitment, you'll also be charged the difference between the 1-month and 6-month contract rates for the months you used (July and August).

In summary, cancelling during the pause means you’ll pay for October and any contract adjustment fees for the months already used.

Longer Term Pause:
For long-term holds due to surgery, pregnancy, or other significant life events, the process is as above.
Please submit your pause request form by the 25th of the month, all payments are non-refundable, and if you cancel during the hold, 1 months notice is required.
